A sophomore from Roswell, Ga., Doornbos had some outstanding performances for the W&L Indoor Track & Field team on Saturday at the Bucknell Winter Classic. Doornbos finished first overall in the long jump with a leap of 17'9.75", which broke her own school record, was the longest jump in the ODAC this season, and was an NCAA Provisional Qualifying performance. Additionally, Doornbos broke her own school record in the 200 meters with a time of 26.88, which was the top Division III time at the meet. Doorbos was the 2006 ODAC Women's Indoor Track Rookie and Runner of the Year.
