MIKE GINDER, SR., JACKSONVILLE, FLA./EPISCOPAL

A senior from Jacksonville, Fla., Ginder helped lead the W&L men's swimming team to their fourth-straight Bluegrass Mountain Championship over the weekend. Ginder had a hand in four school records and a pair of meet record times, while automatically qualifying for the NCAA Championhips in two events. He posted an NCAA"A" cut time in winning the 200 backstroke in a meet-record time of 1:49.94. He also won the 200 freestyle in an NCAA "B" cut time of 1:41.13 and swam on four school record-setting relay teams. He was a part of the winning 200 free relay team that produced an "A" cut time of 1:22.94 and also swam on the winning 200 medley relay team (1:33.36 "B" cut), the winning 400 freestyle relay team (3:04.49 "B" cut), and the second-place 400 medley relay team (3:27.98 "B" cut). A 10-time All-American, Ginder will look to add to his list of accolades at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships held March 15-17 in Houston, Texas.
