A sophomore 285-pounder from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Christopher helped the W&L wrestling team post a pair of upset victories on Saturday at the W&L Quad. With the Generals trailing Muhlenberg, 16-15, heading into the final match, Christopher knocked off the Mules' Joe Tartar, 3-2, to give W&L an 18-16 victory. Later, Christopher found himself as the deciding match again, this time in a 21-17 victory over 30th-ranked Ursinus. With the match tied at 18-18, Christopher knocked off Matt Williams, 6-5, to give the Bears their first conference loss in their last 27 matches (Ursinus was deducted one point for its final score of 17). Christopher is 9-9 overall for the Generals, who have posted their most wins (7-3) since 1999-2000 and their most-ever Centennial Conference wins (5-2).
