A sophomore attackman from Baltimore, Md.,
Skeen helped lead the Washington and Lee men’s lacrosse team to a 14-13 victory over Roanoke on Saturday by totaling a career-high eight points on a career-high five goals and three assists. Skeen scored three first quarter goals as the Generals raced out to a 6-1 lead only to see the Maroons come back to take a fourth-quarter lead. After the game was tied at 13-13 late in the fourth period, Skeen tallied the game-winner with a one-on-one move with 7.4 seconds remaining. The 2006 ODAC Rookie of the Year, Skeen has played in five of the team’s seven games to date and is third on the team in scoring with 16 points on eight goals and eight assists.
