LAURA MAURER, SO, OH, SPARTA, N.J./POPE JOHN XXIII

A sophomore from Sparta, N.J., Maurer helped lead the W&L volleyball team to a 6-0 week by averaging 3.94 kills, 3.65 digs and 0.59 blocks per game, while hitting .304. She totaled 25 kills and 23 digs in a 3-1 win over Averett en route being named the Tournament MVP at the Averett Invitational over the weekend. The 2005 ODAC Rookie of the Year, Maurer currently leads the team with an average of 3.50 kills per game.
