The Generals play all of their home matches and practice rounds on the beautiful 18-hole Lexington Golf and Country Club course located just south of the city limits. The course, recognized as one of the most picturesque and challenging in the state, has been the Generals’ home for over 60 years.

The course was redesigned in 1969 and a new nine was added at that time as well. Noted Augusta, Ga., architect Ellis Maples, who designed the No. 5 course at the Pinehurst Resort, was brought in to design the new course.

The par 71 course covers 6,444 yards in length. The front nine covers 3,104 yards (par 35) and the grueling back nine covers 3,340 yards (par 36).

The course has served as the host site for the ODAC championship in 1977, 1983 and 1989. The course has also hosted the W&L Fall Golf Classic, now the Buck Leslie Invitational, for 20 years.
