Junior Forward Averaged 10.5 Points and 6.3 Rebounds Per Game

LEXINGTON, Va. -- Junior forward Scott Hettermann (Falls Church, Va./Landon) was named to the Honorable Mention All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference team at the conference's tournament banquet held on Friday evening.

The 6-foot-4 Hettermann led the Generals in scoring and rebounding, averaging 10.5 points and 6.3 boards per game. He also finished second on the team, averaging 1.8 assists per contest. He shot 50.0 percent (82-164) from the field for the season.

The Generals' rebounding leader in 16 contests, Hettermann's top game was a 25-point, seven-rebound effort against Lynchburg College on Jan. 12.

Washington and Lee finished the 2001-02 season with a 7-18 overall record, 4-14 in league play. The Generals fell to Randolph-Macon, 69-36, in the opening round of the conference tournament, but garnered three more victories than last season.
