ABILENE, Texas -- Washington and Lee had three players chosen to the Football Gazette All-South Region teams which were announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Junior linebacker Ben Krasnoff (Towson, Md./Towson) earned First Team All-Region honors, while senior offensive lineman Mat Rapoza (Kill Devil Hills, N.C./Manteo) earned second team honors. Senior running back Chris Sullivan (San Antonio, Texas/Alamo Heights) garnered third team accolades.

Krasnoff led the Old Dominion Athletic Conference in tackles per game (10.4) en route to earning First Team All-ODAC and All-State honors. His 94 total tackles and 16 tackles for a loss led the team.

Rapoza was named to the second team all-region squad after being lauded with First Team All-ODAC and All-State honors. Rapoza anchored a W&L offensive line which allowed just 12 sacks in 292 pass attempts.

Sullivan was a third team selection after earning First Team All-ODAC and Virginia College Division Player of the Year honors. A finalist for the Gagliardi Award given to the top football player in Division III, Sullivan rushed for 1,123 yards and 10 touchdowns on an ODAC-record 294 carries. He ended his career as the W&L leader in career rushing yards (3,140) and career all-purpose yards (5,931).
