W&L LACROSSE MOVES UP IN USILA DIVISION III POLL
Generals Reside in Fourth Following Win Over Washington College

LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men's lacrosse team moved into fourth place in the Division III men's lacrosse poll which was released on Monday evening.

The Generals, who were sixth in the Inside Lacrosse/Faceoff Magazine preseason poll, trail only Middlebury, Gettysburg and Salisbury in voting conducted by members of the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA). Whittier, Hampden-Sydney, Washington College, Ithaca, Cortland State and Ohio Wesleyan round out the Top 10.

W&L improved to 2-0 on the season with a 6-5 win over Washington College on Sunday. The Generals will next face Gettysburg on Saturday at 1:30 pm in Lexington, Va.
