W&L RANKED 34TH IN NACDA DIRECTORS' CUP STANDINGS CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Washington and Lee University ranks 34th
nationally in the NACDA Directors' Cup Division III fall standings which
were released on Thursday. W&L claimed 100 points from the fall season in which
the women's soccer and volleyball teams both advanced to the NCAA South
Region semifinals. Williams College sits atop the standings with 376 points
followed by Messiah (Pa.), College of New Jersey, Trinity (Texas) and
Nebraska Wesleyan. Several other Virginia schools ranked among the Top
50, including Mary Washington at No. 28 and Roanoke at No. 32. The NACDA Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort
between the National Association of Collegiate Director's of Athletics
(NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded on the based on each institution's
