W&L WOMEN'S TENNIS CHOSEN AS NCAA TOURNAMENT HOST SITE
Generals To Face Salisbury On Saturday Afternoon

LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee women's tennis team was chosen as one of eight schools to host first- and second round-matches of the 2003 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championships.

The second-ranked Generals (20-1) will square off against Salisbury (8-6) in the first round of the tournament on Saturday on the W&L Upper Courts, while Swarthmore (13-3) will take on Mary Washington (11-5) in the other first round match. Both matches will start at 12:30 p.m.

The first-round winners will meet on Sunday at 1:00 pm on the W&L Upper Courts for the right to advance to the National Quarterfinals. The quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will take place at the University of the Redlands starting on Wed., May 20.
