KRASNOFF CHOSEN TO PLAY IN EAST COAST BOWL
PETERSBURG, Va. -- Washington and Lee senior linebacker
Ben Krasnoff (Towson, Md./Towson) was among 71 football players chosen
to play in the Third Annual City of Petersburg East Coast Bowl on Sat.,
Nov. 29 at Historic Cameron Field in Petersburg, Va. The game features draft eligable players from NCAA Division
II and III schools in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee,
Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Delaware. Krasnoff
joins Chris Sullivan '03 and Mat Rapoza '03 as Generals to have played
in the game. Sullivan was named the MVP of last season's game. All money raised from the game goes towards a scholarship
fund for area high school players planning on attending a Division II
or III school. Krasnoff, who entered the season a Preseason Second Team
All-America pick by Lindy's and Football Gazette, was a Second Team All-ODAC
choice in 2003 after he ranked third among the Generals and fifth in the
ODAC with 7.4 tackles per game. He was a First Team All-ODAC, First Team
All-Region and First Team All-State selection last season. Joining Krasnoff from the ODAC are Hampden-Sydney seniors
Bobby Brink and Conrad Singh. Washington and Lee finished the 2003 season with a 3-7 overall
