JACOBS GARNERS 100TH CAREER SWIMMING VICTORY
LEXINGTON, Va. -- Washington and Lee Head Women's Swimming
Coach Kiki Jacobs reached her 100th career victory on Tuesday evening
with a 135-76 win over Hollins University. Jacobs' career record stands at 100-65 (.606) over 13 seasons.
She has suffered just one losing season, her first, and has led the Generals
to 10 consecutive ODAC Championships. A seven-time ODAC/Atlantic States Coach of the Year, Jacobs
led W&L to a school-record 10 wins during the 1999-2000 season and
has coached W&L women's swimmers to All-America honors a total of
17 times. Washington and Lee is currently 4-1 overall, 3-0 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, and returns to action on Saturday at Dickinson College. Jacobs is a 1989 graduate of Dickinson and resides in the school's athletic hall of fame. -- GENERALS -- |
