The selections marked the 10th-straight year that W&L will have a player participate in the game and the fourth consecutive year that the Generals have had the maximum of three players selected.

An Honorable Mention All-American last season, he finishes his career ranked fifth all-time at W&L with 475 career saves and sixth all-time with a .605 save percentage.
