AUSTIN KIM NAMED ODAC MEN'S TENNIS SCHOLAR-ATHLETE
OF THE YEAR
LEXINGTON, Va. -- Washington and Lee senior Austin Kim (Richmond,
Va./Clover Hill) has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Men's
Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year. A chemistry and French double-major, Kim claims a 3.869
cumulative grade-point average. On the court, Kim has posted a 16-6 record while playing
mostly sixth singles. At No. 1 doubles, he has recorded a 13-8 overall
mark. Kim claimed All-ODAC honors for the third time in his career
by winning the ODAC Championship at sixth singles and No. 1 doubles over
the weekend. A four-year letterwinner and two-year captain, Kim has
notched a 58-34 career record in singles and a 57-32 career mark in doubles. Washington and Lee captured its ninth-straight ODAC men's tennis championship over the weekend. The Generals (15-6) return to action on Tuesday as they travel to James Madison for a 3:30 pm match.
