HAGERMAN NAMED ODAC WOMEN'S TENNIS SCHOLAR-ATHLETE
OF THE YEAR
SALEM, Va. -- Washington and Lee junior Lindsay Hagerman
(Dallas, Texas/Highland Park) has been named the Old Dominion Athletic
Conference Women's Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
A history major, Hagerman claims a 3.639 cumulative grade-point
On the court, Hagerman earned ODAC Player of the Year honors
this season after winning the conference championship at first singles
and doubles. Her season records stand at 25-4 in singles and 23-5 in doubles.
A three-time All-American and the 2002 ITA Co-National Rookie
of the Year, Hagerman claims an 84-17 career record in singles and an
84-14 career mark in doubles.
Washington and Lee is 21-3 overall and ranked second in Division III. The Generals claimed their 13th ODAC Championship in the last 14 years on Sunday. On Monday evening, W&L will find out who is will face in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Tournament. The Generals completed last season's tournament with a runner-up finish.
