HAGERMAN NAMED ODAC WOMEN'S TENNIS SCHOLAR-ATHLETE
OF THE YEAR
SALEM, Va. -- Washington and Lee junior Lindsay Hagerman
(Dallas, Texas/Highland Park) has been named the Old Dominion Athletic
Conference Women's Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year. A history major, Hagerman claims a 3.639 cumulative grade-point
average. On the court, Hagerman earned ODAC Player of the Year honors
this season after winning the conference championship at first singles
and doubles. Her season records stand at 25-4 in singles and 23-5 in doubles. A three-time All-American and the 2002 ITA Co-National Rookie
of the Year, Hagerman claims an 84-17 career record in singles and an
84-14 career mark in doubles. Washington and Lee is 21-3 overall and ranked second in Division III. The Generals claimed their 13th ODAC Championship in the last 14 years on Sunday. On Monday evening, W&L will find out who is will face in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.
