W&L TENNIS TEAMS TO HOST NCAA FIRST & SECOND ROUNDS
Men's and Women's Teams Both Make NCAA Tournament Field

LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men's and women's tennis teams have both been selected to the NCAA Division III Tournament field and will host the first and second rounds at W&L.

Additionally, the NCAA women's individual singles and doubles field was selected and W&L claimed three selections to the singles championship and two selections to the doubles championship. Among those selected to the singles championship field were senior Lindsay Hagerman (Wichita Falls, Texas/Highland Park) and sophomores Kristen McClung (Charleston, W.Va./Charleston Catholic) and Emily Applegate (Charleston, S.C./Porter-Gaud).

Applegate and McClung will form one of the two doubles teams selected, while Hagerman will team with sophomore Ginny Wortham (Richmond, Va./Collegiate) make up the second doubles team.

Selections for the NCAA men's individual tournament field will be made next week.
