REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. -- The Washington and Lee women's lacrosse
team had two players selected to the IWLCA/US Lacrosse Division III All-America

(Charlottesville, Va./St. Anne's-Belfield) earned second team honors,
while senior midfielder Kitt Murphy (New York, N.Y./St. Catherines) was
named to the third team. Speasmaker, who was a First Team All-ODAC and First Team
All-Atlantic South Region selection, tallied five points on three goals
and two assists and her 22 caused turnovers were second on the squad.
Speasmaker also helped the Generals to a No. 7 national ranking in scoring
defense, allowing just 6.10 goals per game. Murphy, who was a First Team All-Atlantic South Region
honoree, collected nine points on six goals and three assists. She was
second on the team with 52 ground balls and third with 18 draw controls.
Murphy was also a Second Team All-ODAC performer in 2005 after earning
First-Team All-ODAC accolades the previous two years. She also garnered
