W&L's BRANDLER NAMED ODAC INDOOR TRACK & FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Sophomore Had a Pair of Top-2 Finishes at the VMI Winter Relays

Sophomore Elizabeth Brandler

LEXINGTON, Va. -- Washington and Lee sophomore Elizabeth Brandler (Camp Hill, Pa./East Pennsboro) has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Women's Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 6. This marks the fourth time this season that a W&L athlete has won the award.

Brandler had a pair of Top-2 finishes at the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) Winter Relays over the weekend.

Brandler won the pole vault by clearing a height of 10 feet, 6 inches and placed second in the triple jump with a leap of 32 feet, 1 inch.

Washington and Lee will be back in action on Saturday at the Dickinson Invitational beginning at 10:00 am.
