Freshman Linebacker Recored Eight Tackles in Win at Emory & Henry

Freshman Bradley McAllister

LEXINGTON, Va. -- Washington and Lee freshman linebacker Bradley McAllister (Upper Saint Clair, Pa./Upper Saint Clair) has been named the ODAC Defensive Player of the Week following his performance in a 45-7 win at Emory & Henry on Saturday.

McAllister led the Generals with eight tackles, including two tackles for a loss. He also notched one sack and forced a fumble as the W&L defense held the Wasps to just 263 yards of total offense and one touchdown.

For the season, McAllister has totaled 16 tackles, one sack, one interception and one forced fumble.

Washington and Lee (6-3) returns to action on Saturday as it hosts Case Western Reserve University for a 1:00 pm contest. A win would give W&L its first seven-win season since the 1985 campaign.
