GREG BIENEMANN NAMED ODAC MEN'S HOOPS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Junior Forward Averaged 26.5 Points and 7.0 Rebounds Last Week

SALEM, Va. -- Washington and Lee junior forward Greg Bienemann (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending November 26.

Bienemann garnered the award after helping lead the Generals to a 2-0 week with wins over Dickinson (78-65) and Oberlin (65-52). In the wins, Bienemann averaged 26.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game and shot 71.4 percent from the field.

In the victory over Dickinson on Tuesday, Bienemann tallied 28 points on 10-of-13 shooting from the floor. He followed that performance with 25 points and eight rebounds in the win over Oberlin on Saturday.

For the season, Bienemann is averaging 20.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per contest, while shooting 68.9 percent (31-45) from the floor.

Washington and Lee is currently 3-1 overall, its best start since the 2002-03 season. The Generals return to action on Saturday as they travel to Randolph-Macon for a 2:00 pm contest.
