W&L WOMEN'S TENNIS TO HOST NCAA ROUNDS 1-3

LEXINGTON, Va. -- The fourth-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis team has been selected to the NCAA Division III Tournament field and will host the first, second and third rounds at W&L this weekend.

The Generals (20-1) received a first-round bye and then will meet either Swarthmore (12-6) or Cabrini (12-4) in the second round on Saturday at 10:00 am.

Other teams participating at W&L over the weekend include Johns Hopkins (16-3), Moravian (14-3) and Mary Washington (20-2). UMW will face the winner of the Hopkins-Moravian contest on Saturday.

The NCAA National Championships will be held at Mary Washington on May 15-20.
