Chase currently leads the Generals in goals with six and points with 13. His 2.60 points per game and 1.20 goals per game are both tops in the ODAC. For his career, Chase now has 35 goals and 76 points, which rank him third and fourth all-time at W&L in those two categories respectively. Chase needs just one more goal to move into a tie for second place on the career goals scored list, and five more to tie Scott Fechnay (1965-68) as W&L's all-time leading goal scorer. He also needs just ten more points to tie Fechnay and Tim Henry (1962-65) at the top of W&L's career points list.
As a freshman in 1995, Chase led the ODAC in scoring with 18 goals and 37 points and earned second team All-ODAC honors. Last season, he scored 11 goals and handed out four assists for 26 points and was named first team All-ODAC and All-State as well as earning second team All-South region honors.
Chase is a 1995 graduate of Walton High School, where he earned three letters in both basketball and soccer. In soccer, he earned All-Cobb County honors twice as well as all-state honors as a senior when Walton won the AAAA state title.
