The Washington and Lee men's basketball team has been picked ninth in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference preseason coaches poll. Defending league champion Hampden-Sydney was picked to win the league again this year.
W&L will be led by sophomore center Rich Peterson who was the league's Freshman of the Year last season when he averaged 14.2 points and 6.6 rebounds while shooting 60.4 percent from the field.
The Generals open the season on November 21 at Swarthmore and will begin league play on November 25 at Guilford.
