LEXINGTON, Va. -- Washington and Lee sophomore Nancy Reinhart, a native of Louisville, was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Player of the Week in women's volleyball for the week ending September 28. Reinhart had 69 kills, 63 digs and a .241 hitting percentage in five matches, highlighted by a 14-kill effort in a three-game conference victory over Roanoke.
Reinhart, a 5-foot-6 outside hitter, currently leads the ODAC in kills per game (3.49 per game), registering 150 kills in 43 games. The Generals are off to an 8-4 start this season and rank atop the ODAC standings with a 4-0 conference mark. Reinhart is in her second season as a starter and was a key player for last year's team with set a school record with a 29-4 season. Reinhart had 280 kills last year, including a school record 29 kills in a win over Eastern Mennonite.
Reinhart is a 1996 graduate of Sacred Heart Academy where she lettered in volleyball, soccer and track. Reinhart is also a member of the track team at W&L.
