Generals Claim Two First-teamers, Rookie and Coach of the Year

SALEM, Va. -- The Washington and Lee volleyball team placed two players on the All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference first team and also claimed the league's coach and rookie of the year in voting conducted by the league's coaches.

Junior outside hitter Nancy Reinhart (Louisville, Ky./Sacred Heart) and freshman middle blocker Lindsay Ruckert (Metairie, La./Sacred Heart) were both named to the first team, while Ruckert also garnered the rookie of the year award. Head coach Terri Dadio Campbell earned her fourth-straight ODAC Coach of the Year award.

Reinhart, last year's ODAC Player of the Year, has had another outstanding season to date, averaging 2.44 kills per game and 4.0 digs per game. She has amassed 31 service aces and a W&L season-record 361 digs. She also set the W&L career digs mark during the season. Her total now stands at 1, 041.

Ruckert claims a team-high 277 kills (3.01 per game) and a team-high .344 hitting percentage. She has 37 service aces, 64 total blocks, and is averaging 3.0 digs per game.

Dadio Campbell guided the Generals to a perfect 10-0 record in league play and 23-2 overall on the season. Her teams have won 35 of their last 36 league matches and have gone 40-2 at home over the past four seasons. Her career record now stands at 134-41 overall and 41-7 in conference play.

Top-seeded W&L will defend last season's ODAC title on Friday, Nov. 6, when it faces eighth-seeded Hollins at 5:00 pm in the quarterfinals of the ODAC Tournament at Bridgewater.
