LEXINGTON, Va. -- Washington and Lee senior men's lacrosse players Charlie Antrim (Richmond, Va./St. Christopher's) and Chris Brown (Towson, Md./Towson) have been selected to participate in the North-South All-Star game held June 10 at the University of Delaware.
Antrim, a defenseman, has helped spearhead a W&L defensive unit that has allowed an average of just 5.25 goals per game, the second-best GAA in Division III. Antrim was a preseason Second Team All-America selection by Faceoff '00 Men's College Lacrosse Magazine.
Brown, an attackman, has produced his finest season in a Generals' uniform amassing 44 goals and 20 assists for 64 points. He currently ranks fifth in W&L history in career goals (113) and 14th in career scoring (145). Like Antrim, Brown is a two-time First Team All-ODAC selection who earned preseason Third Team All-America honors by Faceoff '00 Men's College Lacrosse Magazine.
Washington and Lee (15-1) was ranked fourth in the final USILA Division III lacrosse poll and will play at Gettysburg College in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division III Tournament on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 pm.
