LEXINGTON, Va. -- Washington and Lee athletic Director Mike Walsh has announced the appointment of Todd Peters as head water polo and assistant swim coach.
A 1998 graduate of Gettysburg College with a bachelor of arts degree in sociology and anthropology, Peters had been the aquatics director and head water polo and swimming coach at the Innis Arden Swim Club in Old Greenwich, Conn. In that capacity, Peters was responsible for coaching approximately 80 swimmers ages 7-to-18, as well as managing the guards and swimming facilities.
Peters also possesses swimming and water polo coaching experience from the Park City Racquet and Fitness Club in Park City, Utah, Gettysburg College, the Rocky Point Club in Old Greenwich, and the Burning Tree Country Club in Greenwich, Conn.
While at Gettysburg, Peters was a three-time All-America swimmer and the Centennial Conference Swimmer of the Year his senior season. Gettysburg won the Centennial Conference Championship each of his four seasons at the school.
