GENERALS GO TWO FOR THREE IN BUSY ODAC WEEK
Last week, W&L went 2-1 with victories at Lynchburg and at home against
Hollins, before falling at defending ODAC regular season champion
Randolph-Macon on Saturday. At Lynchburg, the Generals went on a 16-2
run in the final four minutes of the game to break open a two-point game
and won. 78-62. Against Hollins, the Genereals were down by three early
in the second half, but went on a 39-11 run and pulled out a 76-59 win.
The magic ended at Randolph-Macon. The Generals cut a 13-point Yellow
Jacket first half lead to three and were down only five at halftime.
However injuries to junior guard Ansley Miller and freshman guard Carter
Thomas sidelined two of W&L's floor leaders for the remainder of the game
and the Yellow Jackets ran away with a 90-62 victory.
IT DOESNUT GET ANY EASIER
The Generals will continue their grueling conference schedule with games
at Bridgewater on Tuesday night and at Guilford on Saturday afternoon.
Bridgewater is currently 11-2 and 8-0 in the ODAC. The Eagles have won
eight straight games since Dec. 5 and have not allowed any opponents
closer than seven points in that stretch. BC is led by Connie Ritchie,
who is averaging 14 points per game. Guilford currently sports a 5-7
record and is 4-4 in the ODAC. The Quakers are on three-game winning
streak and is led by Kerrie Campbell, who is averaging 11.7 points per
game.

12.8 points per game average, while being followed closely by senior
forward Chrissy Burghardt with 12.2 ppg and junior Ansley Miller with
