The Duchossois Tennis Center opened in January 1997
and is one of the finest collegiate indoor facilities in the country.
The Duchossois Tennis Center features four courts with a spacious
spectator gallery overlooking all four courts, team locker rooms and
player lounges. The entrance to the facility includes a dramatic gatehouse,
an architectural element consistent with two of the other newest buildings
on campus, and the lobby features oak flooring throughout.
Washington and Lee plays its outdoor matches on the
lower varsity courts beneath the historic footbridge which was constructed
in 1924. There are six courts at the lower complex and the University
also has eight additional outdoor courts behind Wilson Field, the
University's main outdoor athletic complex.
